Ayuda, rompi mi Ubuntu !!!

Hola a todos:
Hace unos días me puse a instalar FusionForge (nueva versión de GForge) 
en mi laptop para probar las funcionalidades e ir pensando en una 
posible migración de uno antiguo que ya tengo instalado. La cuestión es 
que el mismo me dió problemas a la hora de instalar pero ya me había 
instalado una serie de paquetes que no usaba y que me estaban 
ralentizando la PC (exim, postfix u otros). Hoy en la noche me dispuse a 
remover dichos paquetes y ejecuté el comando:

#apt-get remove cvs postgresql postgresql-contrib libipc-run-perl 
liburi-perl libapache2-svn subversion subversion-tools lsb-release

Esto me dio como salida lo siguiente:

Confiando en que solo se desinstalarían dichos paquetes no leí y di 
ENTER acto seguido. Luego cuando me detuve a revisar lo que estaba 
desinstalado me di cuenta que estaba removiendo paquetes necesarios para 
  que Gnome funcione correctamente. Está fue la salida:

La cuestión es que cuando reinicie la PC se me queda colgada pues 
necesita de dichos paquetes. He intentado instalarlos todos nuevamente 
(menos mal que se me ocurrio copiar & pegar todo en un fichero) pero no 
tengo conectividad inclusive desde la consola.

Me puede decir alguien como y donde configuro la interfaz de red a ver 
si así resuelvo?
A alguien se le ocurre alguna otra solución que no sea la de instalar 
nuevamente todos esos paquetes?
