problemas con xrand, portatil y pantalla TFT

Hola David, 

este es uno  de los post que ya había leido, y me falla en dos sitios, te explico:

1 - en el paso 1, cuando debo elegir que los dos controladores sean INTEL, pues el
segundo siempre me aparece como VESA. Si lo cambio a INTEL y ACEPTO, posteriormente
cuando vuelvo a entrar me vuelve a aparecer VESA.
Si lo cambio a otro, por ejemplo intel 945, al ACEPTAR me dice que todos los
usuarios deben cerrar sesión.
al volver a entrar (después de reiniciar gdm) me sigue apareciendo el intel 945.
Total, que este paso nunca lo puedo hacer.

2 - en el paso de operar con xrandr, me sigue apareciendo el error que comentaba
anteriormente:
$ xrandr -q
