Sin sonido con un portatil Benq

Hola :)


¿Alguien por aqui tiene un Benq y/o tarjeta de sonido intel ICH6 y
ha conseguido tener sonido con Dapper?

El sistema reconoce la tarjeta y todo parece funcionar correctamente
pero no se oye nada. En la particion de windows SI se oye.

he probado todo lo que sale en estas guias y foros, excepto a nivel
de tocar o borrar el kernel, que no se:

En el alsamixer, tengo lo que hay que tener, creo, unmuted (Master,
PCM, Surround, Center, LFE, Line, CD y PC Speak). El external
amplifier esta muted. Solo hay una curiosidad: el IEC958 Playback
AC97-SPSA no me lo deja mutar ni unmutar, como si no funcionase.

Probe a poner en marcha el modem (snd-intel8x0m), que usa una
tarjeta del mismo tipo, puse los drivers, modules y de todo y paso
lo mismo: lo reconocia, todo fue bien sin errores, pero a la hora de
funcionar, se negaba y sugeria que quizas otro device lo estaba
usando. Sospecho de ¿un "cruce" entre el modem y la tarjeta de sonido?¿


Reinstale pero sigue igual.
