Grafico con poca definicion

Como puedo hacer para que mi entorno grafico aumente su calidad de imagen.
Lo que me ocurre es que anda perfecto pero aparece como una niebla sobre
la imagen. Estoy trabajando en un laptop HP Pavilion dv1000.
Este es mi archivo de configuracion de xorg. Alguien sabe si puedo tocar
algun paràmetro de dicho archivo para solucionar este problema.
