Wmv

Hola a todos:
    Tengo la dapper flight actualizada a la última versión. Quiero ver los wmv y me he descargado vlc. Cuando intento reproducirlo con este programa no se ve ni se oye nada. He instalado los w32codecs para verlos con totem y tampoco. 
 
    ¿alguien me ayuda?
