ayuda sobre conexxion por modem externo

hola lista :

tengo un modem serial externo "mt5600zdxv multitech"
alguien ha logrado utilizarlo en Unix y preferiblemente un Ubu ???

logro q me marque las conexxiones he intercambie ciertos datos con el 
server pero al final nada ..
os envio la salida ........................
