Bueno, no tiene nada de malo que alguien quiera ganar dinero haciendo
software, y tampoco que alguien se canse del ambiente del software
libre. El objetivo del software libre es justamente la libertad, y
dentro de las obligaciones de ser libre esta la de respetar las
desiciones de los demas.

En este caso, si la version actual de ekiga esta licenciada por la gpl,
puede ser que se tome la version actual, se haga un fork y se continue
el desarrollo en forma paralela de una version libre y gratis, si
alguien asi lo desea.

Esa es una ventaja genial del soft libre: el soft no se muere, cuando
alguien quiere cerrar una version, se puede tomar la anterior y
continuarla con una licencia abierta. Ya paso con el OpenOffice.org y
seguira pasando hasta que se den cuenta que con cerrar el software no se
gana nada.
