Prueba a entrar en ubuntu y hacer un sudo apt-get install grub...
Y si no... modifica el /boot/grub/menu.list  con algo parecido a esto:

rootnoverify (hd0,0)
makeactive
chainloader +1

title		Ubuntu, kernel 2.6.12-8-amd64-k8 Default
root		(hd0,6)
