KDE y Ubuntu. Futuro

Hola,
Yo estoy usando kubuntu , pero he probado las dos versiones. Tengo que reconocer que ubuntu hoy por hoy funciona infinitamente mejor que kubuntu (con kubuntu se cuelgan más programas, el substituto de synaptic no es tan bueno y es complicado hacer que el wireless funcione y en mi portatil tengo problemas de sonido). No hay que olvidar que la inversión fuerte de dinero se ha hecho para ubuntu y kubuntu por ahora va a la zaga.
Sin embargo decidí usar kubuntu basicamente por el aspecto visual de KDE, gnome me parece como volver a los tiempos del windows 98 (aunque luego se pueda cambiar el aspecto). Además me gusta que el konqueror me permita explorar disco duro, paginas web, ver fotos...
Por lo que parece Shuttleworth debe pensar lo mismo y quiere meter más dinero en kubuntu, así que es posible que en el futuro veamos muchos avances en la estabilidad de kubuntu.
En fin, cada uno tiene sus preferencias y siempre tenemos la posibilidad de instalar los 2 escritorios o usar programas de uno u otro. Un saludo.
