<div dir="ltr">SA,<br><br>Canonical with Qt have organized a contest for Ubuntu app developers with prizes, <a href="http://developer.ubuntu.com/showdown/"><b>Ubuntu App Showdown</b></a>. They will also hold a series of <a href="http://developer.ubuntu.com/showdown/workshops/">Google+ Hangout Workshops</a>.<br>

<br>Contest: Create an app from scratch for Ubuntu in three weeks, and delivered in the Ubuntu Software Centre.<br><br><u><b>Prizes</b>:</u><br><ol><li><strong>Gold Prize:      System76 Gazelle Professional laptop and Nokia N9 phone</strong></li>

<li><strong>Silver Prize:    </strong><strong>System76 Lemur Ultra laptop and Nokia N9 phone</strong><strong></strong></li><li><strong>Bronze Prize:  Nokia N9 phone</strong>.</li><li>After the contest the community will vote on all of the apps in the Ubuntu Software Centre and there are another <strong>three Nokia N9 phones</strong> up for grabs!</li>
