[Ubuntu-eg] problem with downloading

Come to think of it, i have a "kinda" similar problem, when i use my VPS as
a proxy using ssh with putty ( on windows ) my download speed is limited to
50kb~55kb, I am not sure though if the problem is about the ssh connection
settings or the putty client it self, because when i use this same
connection on linux using the -D parameter, i get my full speed. I am not
sure if this problem is even related to this one, but i just thought it's
worth mentioning.
