also this one talks particularly on the topic http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/open-source-misses-the-point.html :D:D ... I know this may look a lame philosophy talk :D ... but I do think that this philosophy is what attracted me more to the whole FLOSS thing :D:D

free software may be proprietary, Ubuntu is based on, and encourages, the open source.
