First, thanks for the info. Second, Panda board is awesome but it has too many features that I don't need right now that makes it too expensive (174$ without shipping). For example, I don't need HDMI video or audio, and I don't need Bluetooth. What I really need is the processor, RAM, ROM, USB hub, SD/MMC card slot and the ability to add more features when I need. Ain't there any simpler ready made boards containing only the necessary resources ?!!!

@ Ahmed Kamal: Thanks for the link, I'll check it out as soon as I can.@ Osama Mongy: Thanks for the info about busybox.

@ Mohamed Nour El-Din: Thanks for thanks for correcting our info about busy box.
@ every one: My main interest is Linux development in general, that's why I intend to try LFS to understand how Linux operate. My interest of embedded Linux came from the intro of the LFS book where they talked about stripped low footprint versions of Linux capable of running on embedded systems with low resources cuz it'll benefit my graduation project. What I need to know is :

How to obtain hardware capable of running Linux with reasonable price to experiment on.How to get or build a linux version capable of running on that hardware.

How to deal with the drivers. How to use that as a controller for other hardware (probably this means writing a driver for that hardware.

What I need is material to learn how to do this and if someone has previous experience in any of these fields and can give me an overview, provide any help or want to work with me on this, I'd like to meet him so we can talk about it.
