Hi Mohammed,

I don't know why we always keeping pointing fingers at each others! Of
course it's always easier to do that than face reality.

Did u visit the event page ? We are planning to give basic sessions about
the usage of Ubuntu in normal day-to-day tasks. Please feel free to add the
sessions you think will be useful.

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/EgyptTeam/Events

And it was never about power, actually we are powerless admins ( and we
never said that we were leaders, at least I know I didn't ). We asked to
have administration privileges to be able to perform the normal tasks like
approving emails and accepting new members, do you consider this as power ?
We are even having a problem with the ubuntu council. No one currently has
the admin password for the mailing list, we asked for it to be reset but
nothing happened. Please if u consider this as a privilege tell me.

The installation festival is a good way to publicize the group. We don't get
that much traffic on the mailing list or even the forums. People need to
know that we exist first, right ?

We have plans for creating a faculty group in Faculty of Engineering Cairo
University to have a constant and persistent presence. We just had to wait
for the starting of the new year, and our wait is nearly over.

Please man enough of this negative attitude, it's not helpful in any way.
Feel free to post suggestions and people will follow if they find your
suggestions interesting. If you find that there is something that we are
missing you can always assume responsibility and start working on it,
instead of blaming other people. That's what a community is about.

Btw. Even if Ubuntu installation was super easy, and I think it is, people
always feel that there is a barrier between them and Linux.

Best regards,
Ahmed Toulan.
