jaunty problems

Hi,

I have not tried Jaunty yet, waiting for the final release. It sounds
like a problem with intel drivers. You're still lucky thou;p last time I
had a problem with intel drivers, X was crashing then doing an infinite
loop trying to restart itself.. only fix was a cold reboot. I dunno if
compiz is important for you, but you could consider switching to
metacity, as it seems the bug is compiz specific.

As for the USB not being recognized, im not sure what's going on there,
but you could try mounting it manually, check if /etc/fstab has any
instances for that device, if so please attach.
