<div>Does your company offer discount/bulk rates for schools? I have 10 inner city students that have been selected for a project where we receive pentium 3 pc's (450's to 900's) and refurbish with Ubuntu and distribute to community based organizations. These students have little to no experience besides the basic end users but have been chosen with their dedication and drive to learn. I kept the pilot program at 10 students as its a manageable number and we have chosen Ubuntu as the OS. But beyond the super basics I would like a solid lesson curriculum to teach a basic linux/ubuntu. Do you have something basic/introduction course? This project is not geared towards getting them certified just introduced and familiar with the software. I am hoping this will introduce them into a lucrative carer (better then Mc Donalds :)</div>

The exam and training materials are currently being revamped and will be available soon. Starting May 1, the new exam will be available at any Pearson/Vue or Prometric training centers. LPI has also updated their LPI 101/102 exams as of April 1. Depending on what type of certification you need, these programs may fit your purposes. The new UCP and 199 exam cover desktop deployment but not anything with Edubuntu. While you do not need to take any formal training to sit for the exams, the new UCP classroom course is being offered through our training partners and we will be offering an eLearning version of the course starting this summer.<br>
