Hi Pierre,
Apart from a slew of educational packages in the Ubuntu world under
GNOME and KDE, I'd also suggest looking at Sugar.
http://www.sugarlabs.org/ You can install Sugar on Ubuntu, Fedora,
etc. using the distro's package managers.
