Hi everyone!

I'm an Edubuntu passionate beginner.
I'm a primary teacher living in Italy (very close to Venice).
I teach art, music and English as a second language.

I migrated from Windows to Linux for superficial ideological reasons.
I was looking for a good software for video editing. 
Adobe Premiere or Cinelerra? 
Being ready to spend a lot of time for learning anyway, I decided to
jump a little forward and land on Linux. 
Ubuntu was just the handiest distribution.
That's how I entered Linux, Ubuntu an Cinelerra. From there, I'm still
jumping from one discover to another, hopping about with joy in a world
of a depth that was beyond my possible imagination. 
A moral and technical challenge is in front of me.

Edubuntu is one of my last discoveries.
I count on it for personal and professional development. 
This year I'll use computers mainly for an art project focused on
experimenting animations with 7 years old children (Stop Motion or
Cinelerra?)
I hope Edubuntu will help me for management tasks (e.g. classroom
timetabling).
It may help renovating the computer lab of my school (still stuck at
Windows 98).
But first of all it will help developing myself!!
