Hey folks,

Firstly, sorry for the cross post, I know there is discussion about
merging the lists, but until then, I thought this subject would interest
both lists.

One of the most annoying things about Amazon EBS (Elastic Block Storage)
is the need to manually mount an EBS when it's attached.

To solve this annoyance, we developed EBSmount:

    - Automatically mounts EBS devices when they are attached (via udev)
    - Supports formatted devices, as well as partitions
    - Ignores unformatted devices and unsupported filesystems
    - Device/partition uniquely identifiable mountpoints
    - Configurable mount options
    - Hooking scripts execution upon mount
    - Convenience command for a one step format and mount
    - Logging

If you have any feedback, we'd love to hear it!

Cheers,
