[ec2-beta] ec2-ubuntu instance down

What do you mean when you say the instanced "downed"?  Was there an
error message?  Did the ssh session become non-responsive?

"jboss" sounds like it might have Java in it and there is a known
problem installing some Java packages on the official beta1.

Can you provide a detailed list of instructions on how to reproduce the
problem including what files to download and how to install and run it?

Alternatively, you may wish to simply wait for beta2 and test it again
there.
