[ec2-beta] How to login ec2 ubuntu instance ?

Open up your ec2-keypair.pem file in notepad and make sure that the first
characters in it are "-----BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY" and NOT "KEYPAIR
ec2-keypair". If that's not the case, delete the first line and try again.

Steve,
    First thankx for the reply. but when I  use puttygen  import
"ec2-keypair.pem" convert it ,
puttygen report a message "couldn't load private  key (not a private key) "
, so i can't do it.
I don't know why I can't  convert it, can you give some detail information ?

You can use puttygen to convert an openssh key to a putty key. There is a
menu option to import it, and resave as a putty key.
