Hi Elizabeth (and everyone, of course)

work the team does.

My plan is to do something similar to what the Quality Team did last
cycle with a series of introductory sessions for new contributors
around getting set up and covering the various ways of contributing,
you can check out sessions they hosted over on the wiki:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/Activities/Classroom/Saucy

I figure we could do something like:

Introduction to Docs - what options there are for contributing, basic
FAQ (I can probably do this one)

Getting started contributing to Desktop docs (pretty much walk people
through the wiki page and answer questions as they come up)

Getting started contributing to Server docs (same as above)

Getting started contributing to the Wiki docs (some wiki editor might
chime in here :))

And then maybe some more advanced topics?

Like the Quality team we could space these out over several days in a
1-2 week span, or randomly schedule them throughout the cycle as folks
have time.

So, volunteers?

I've Cc:ed the Ubuntu Classroom list on this initial email, but that's
more of an FYI to the rest of them. Since I'm part of the team feel
free to drop that Cc: and I can be the contact point for actually
coordinating the details of these sessions and making sure they are
properly publicized on the Classroom blog, planet and Ubuntu Weekly
Newsletter.
