Will it be on the wiki?

Wow, that's unlucky! Glad you're back up and running.
I was thinking of writing the guide in text files first, and then adding
markup later. The text could certainly be placed on the wiki, and it
sounds like a good idea, so we should probably do that.
Unfortunately I'm away for a couple of weeks starting on Monday, so I
won't be able to give this much attention for a little while. There are
a couple of tasks you could have a go at to prepare, though, if you
like? Here's what I was thinking:
* A wiki page needs to be created to hold the working copy of the
document. It doesn't matter where you put it, anywhere sensible
on wiki.ubuntu.com will do.
* The existing installation-related material from the Ubuntu
Manual (<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://ubuntu-manual.org/">http://ubuntu-manual.org/</a>) needs to be copied across,
text-only, so we can use it as a base for the new document.
* You need to set-up a virtual machine and download an Ubuntu
LiveCD .iso so you can test the installer. I quite like
VirtualBox, but there are others.
How does that sound? Once I'm back we should have a meeting on IRC to
discuss it properly.
Thanks,
Phil
