I think this is a great idea! As far as resume goes, I guess it depends on what people are doing. I'm working on my Technical Communications Certificate which is why I am volunteering with this team. Open Source projects are great for portfolios because there are no restrictions on sharing the work you contribute. It also shows a contribution to a real life project people use and it's a great way to gain experience. I am down to help out with whatever role needs to be filled. I'm taking several tech writing classes this summer and would love real life things I could use for projects in class. Besides writing classes I'm also taking an Editing class and a Usability class, so any role would work for me. I'm also working on the USB docs and have put them on hold until my classes start next week. I plan to submit the draft to the team for review in July. Augustina
