The problem is as you say duplication of effort, as well as the possible introduction of errors by introducing such a proposal. Has anyone got an idea how to make the Table Of Contents display correctly when you are using the modern scheme (it is a choice for viewing the wiki)? What do I do with the #title line in wiki pages? It doesn't always work, although sometimes moving it to the first line of the page works. These things exist now and will also be a problem when the developers wiki is upgraded.
