Hi all,<br><br>Somehow all my gnome-panels dissapeared when I started my laptop today... I tried going to the help files to remedy this, but I only got to the following, which didn't really help, since I -had- no panels at all:
<br><br>Adding a New Panel<br><br>To add a panel, right-click on a vacant space on any panel, then choose New Panel. The new panel is added to the GNOME Desktop. The<br>new panel contains no objects. You can customize the new panel to suit your
<br>preferences.<br><br>Then I found this, <br><br>Deleting a Panel<br><br>To delete a panel from the GNOME Desktop, right-click on the panel that<br>you want to delete, then choose Delete This Panel.<br><br> <br><br>
You must always have at least one panel in the GNOME Desktop.<br>If you have only one panel in the GNOME Desktop, you cannot delete that panel.<br><br><br>Which didn't raise my spirits either, since I clearly had no panels. Only on the forums did I find out about alt+f2, and "killall gnome-panel".
<br><br>Could this be added to the help files, that if your panels somehow dissapeared, you should do the following?<br>
