Lost pages on the wikis

Just a quick heads up.
1. The wiki spam problem has picked up again. Spammers have found back
doors to the team we allow edit access for and they're inundating
various teams with join requests. It's pretty awful. The launchpad
team admins are doing what they can to stem the tide, but we're
volunteers fighting an uphill battle.
2. I've opened up ticket 28486 with Canonical IS because we've been
losing wiki pages. Currently our landing page for
help.ubuntu.com/community/ is gone, which someone joined #ubuntu-doc
to tell us about. So is wiki.ubuntu.com/NewsTeam which is the landing
page for the Ubuntu News team, I noticed this only because I have
notifications for all the News pages on the wiki, it was spammed and
when I went to it it was gone.
I don't know what other legitimate pages are gone, but I'm sure these
aren't the only ones.
I'm hoping Canonical IS can retrieve these pages from the file system,
but I don't know what's going on here. Maybe the spam zapper that IS
is using to clean up is hitting false positives, or the pages are
being moved by spammers first so they don't look legitimate? Whatever
is happening, there is no revision history so there is no way for us
to retrieve these pages.
