Separate mailing list for the desktop guide?

+1 also.

I've not been active in the last cycle due to Debian packaging 
commitments ( trying to get into Debian / Ubuntu Developers for 
packaging, not an easy task ) but I planned on helping out more in the 
next couple cycles leading into the next LTS release.

Keeping all the doc related material on one list has helped be stay up 
to date on current events.
