I take it that you would like to see the "official" label split into
"official server" and "official desktop". Possible of course. OTOH, the
search feature is used all over help.ubuntu.com, and showing too many
labels on the search results pages is probably not good either. Would
the change be a better trade-off compared to how it currently works?

One thing to keep in mind is that the desktop and server guides hold
very different kind of contents. If I enter a 'server typical' search
term, the "official" view only occasionally includes desktop guide pages
among the first items. Or do you have an example of a server search term
where the presence of desktop pages under "official" is confusing?

One way to achieve your goal here would be to create an additional,
server guide only custom search engine, and include both on the server
guide pages.

- Search a wide range of Ubuntu help resources
- Search this server guide

Maybe that would be better, considering that the possibility to narrow
the search using the labels is not apparent.
