wiki vs documentation

Hi :) My "penny worth".
Keep the two separate (official and wiki)- they do appear to satisfy different requirements.
After each official update (13.10 is next) create a control for the wiki pages (as Saucy Ubuntu Doc review), but
add provision for targeted work - which pages are vital and popular (for the experienced ) and which neglected.
If a page is in a poor state but unloved (not popular) it would be an ideal trial ground for a Newbie (me!).
If it would help after the training has taken place a bunch of us (Newbies) could agree to work to complement each other.
That way duplication might be avoided! Please help us build on the valuable advice already given and our willingness to "serve".
My take on training is that the post session record is vital as I cannot "take it all in" at the time.
Martin

Yes a wiki is nice to have, but again if man power is an issue why not merge. There are other community sections such as the forums where people can get help as well as IRC, but i feel up to date documentation is really important
