Get final merges in to Ubuntu Docs

Hi :)
I prefer the sound of removing the "What's new" link until it really does have something new to point at.  

Can it be "commented out" or just backed up somewhere that's easy to get to if/when it needs to be reinstated?

Another possibility might be to just remove the 'What's New?' link
altogether until we get that page updated.
