Yes, I think it is too late for this release.
(Even though the screenshots probably should be updated,
due to the recent default background change).

We are now past the Non Language Pack Translation Deadline,
and the final packaged version is being created  as well
as other languages being added to

I agree with the Merge Proposal method (I would wait for
the 14.04 branch at this point). Myself, I am not familiar with even
the old screenshot script and am not confident to review and
include a new one.
