Getting involved in the docs team

Hi,
In order to get more contributors, my advice is to simplify things. Make
a very short guide, only containing the steps you go through when you do
it yourself. Here's an example from Bazaar:
1. bzr branch lp:name-of-branch
Change file, then:
2. bzr pull
3. bzr commit -m "My message"
4. bzr push
Also see: http://doc.bazaar.canonical.com/latest/en/mini-tutorial/
The same simplification would work for LaTeX, or docbook, or whatever.
Just my 2 cents ;)
