Hi Doug,

I actually went through the entire manual on a fresh 12.04 install on my
laptop. For the most part, the guide was very comprehensive and
helpful, and I feel back in game again. Here are a few comments.

 1. We should include a section for those who already have gpg keys. It
may come as a given on what to do, but it would help. For instance,
I had mine stowed in Dropbox, and I used Password and Keys to import
    my gpg key.
 2. For the sudo apt-get command, we could have a command for installing
necessary ubuntu-doc stuff and another for installing necessary
    serverguide stuff.
 3. For the section with dch -i, the command needs devscripts. Adding a
command to install devscripts, if not done yet, would help.

Regarding the packaging-dev stuff, the only thing I needed was devscripts.
