Updating Ubuntu

Hi :)
I know there is a "duplicate exits" tag but is there a "please merge
with ..." (and then under the tag give links to the ones that need to
be merged)?  Would it be useful or is it tooo unusual a case?

Errr, i think that i just restated the question didn't i?  Should this
post be merged ...
