A Though on Redundancy of Community Wiki and Other Forms of Support

Recently I have had to setup a mail server and i found the official docs
for post fix more incomplete and lacking then the community ones. shouldn't
it in a way be the other way around? community docs fill in the blanks for
more complete official docs?
