Hello Peter,
I have started proofreading the first part of "Advanced installation",
and I made notes of my suggestions. Since this is the first time I do
this for the server guide, I would like you to have a quick look at them
below (each second line = my suggestion) and see if my work is useful.
If it is, I would like to make changes directly in the document, and
then either send it to you, to this list or directly to LP. To file a
bug for each suggestion is a bit cumbersome.
Advanced installation
Partitioning
3. Select the "FREE SPACE" on the first drive then select "Create a new
partition".
3. Select the "FREE SPACE" on the first drive, then select "Create a new
partition".
5. Select the "Use as:" line at the top. By default this is "Ext4
journaling file system", change that to "physical volume for RAID" then
"Done setting up partition".
5. Select the "Use as:" line at the top. By default this is "Ext4
journaling file system"; change that to "physical volume for RAID", then
choose "Done setting up partition".
6. For the / partition once again select "Free Space" on the first drive
then "Create a new partition".
6. For the / partition once again select "Free Space" on the first
drive, then "Create a new partition".
RAID configuration
6. Next, enter the number of spare devices "0" by default, then choose
"Continue".

"Continue".
Degrading RAID
When this happens, using Software RAID, the operating system will place
the array into what is known as a degraded state.
