Docs on building large-scale Ubuntu derivatives

Hello everyone,
I've noticed that the tools for building large-scale Ubuntu
derivatives, like kubuntu, xubuntu, etc are under-documented. Since I
need that for my work, I've figured out something by trial-and-error
and asking in #ubuntu-devel from time to time (cjwatson was especially
helpful, many thanks to him!). I've written all I could find to a
Google doc, here it is:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1RPPF14h1Sw2gQjGTuZjUIlNHnGrafS8ekhFjJM9MT00/edit
I've got seeds covered almost completely (I still have to figure out
what to do about blacklisting, though), but the documentation on the
new build system is still lacking. It was supposed to be created
during the Oneiric cycle, but the blueprint still doesn't seem to have
any activity: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/foundations-o-image-build-documentation
I'm interested in completing the docs (or rather, getting the docs
completed - I prefer writing code, to be honest), and making them
available to a wider audience, maybe linking to them from ubuntu wiki
article or converting this document into an ubuntu wiki article (if
needed). I wonder who could help me with that and if there are any
parties sharing my interests - it seems to me that the derivatives
team has disbanded in 2008 and the CD image team is just too busy for
such things.
Sincerely,
