small corrections to Xubuntu docs

[Dan 'Da Man']

I apologize for making corrections after the string/documentation
deadline/freeze.  I was not aware of it prior to making the changes.
The attached diff shows some other changes I made/corrected prior to
reading responses regarding the previous corrections I made.

I have some other corrections in the pipeline and I know that a branch
for Natty Narwhal has not been created yet, does anyone have any
suggestions on how I can submit those changes I have found in Maverick
series docs since there is freeze on doc changes for Maverick.
