Contributor guide to translations in Ubuntu Docs

Hi all,

One of the things I'm working on this cycle is to have more content on
how to contribute to translations.

I've started with a Translations Quickstart Guide booklet [1], which
Luke Jenkins from the manual team is helping me to format to produce a
nice pdf output.

I was wondering if such or similar content would fit into the Ubuntu
docs as well. Right now, the documentation is focused on how to use and
do things with Ubuntu, but I seem to remember there used to be a section
on e.g. programming, that is, more contributor-oriented.

What do you think, would it make sense to have a section with short
articles on how to get involved and contribute in the different areas?
If so, I could provide some content on how to start translating Ubuntu.

Thanks.

Regards,
David.
