You probably need to visit http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/ for the details on the loss of data at freedesktop.org  No backup to restore!  Wonder why even link was involved and the script was not stored locally.  Things do vanish out there in the world.

I checking the page at https://help.ubuntu.com/9.10/hardware/C/pm-suspending.html I noticed that the link for the Quirk Checker Script referencing the URL http://people.freedesktop.org/~hughsient/quirk/quirk-suspend-debug.html isn't working.

If this is not the correct group to report this to, please let me know who I should email.
