Hi,
Below is a proposed outline for modifying the "New to Ubuntu" doc pages.
I've tried to link to current docs where possible. I assumed that new users
may use this part of the documentation rather than search for the
appropriate page, such as adding / removing software.
One possible source of confusion is that the when a user clicks a link to a
page of the Gnome docs (e.g An overview of your desktop and how to use it)
the section numbers change to the Gnome docs section numbers. So maybe a
note under the link to say the user is going to the Gnome pages maybe of
use.
If the new installation guide is going to be including in the ISO, we can
link to this for trouble shooting problems.
Does the Beginners Team have a mailing list?
Regards,
Kelvin
