Ubuntu Documentation

There is the Wiki here: http://ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Ubuntu:Intrepid and Keir
Thomas's pocket guide, which is pretty good information (but not really a
pocket guide at over 150 pages) -
http://www.ubuntupocketguide.com/index2.html. At the same time, as a
professional technical writer, I'm a little disappointed at the general
quality of documentation - either too technical or not well written or both.

I'm in the process of writing a short guide (hopefully under 40 pages) for
new Ubuntu users who want to use it as a desktop Windows replacement and not
get all down and dirty in the command line [which is precisely one of the
points of this distribution], and will post it when I finish.
