The aim of the release announcement is to provide a concise and targeted
description of the new features (which, as acknowledged in the other
subthread, is already something we struggle with), leaving the details for
other pages such as the technical overview. The tech overview does talk
about what's new in GNOME; I wouldn't object to discussion of any killer
GNOME highlights in the announcement as well, but I think these would need
to be cleared with Gerry first?
