Why not enabling APT links in the Documentation??? (bis)

@all:
I looked at the archives about this topic. If i understood well, this ML group is ok to use APT in the Documentation, but is blocked since Sept.2008 by the Ubuntu sysadmins.

1) It's 1st time I see such a "ticket request", how can we push this to go faster ?  (i tried to add myself as "requestor" but it didn't work). Do we have any clue why it takes so much time? Any answer from the sysadmins? How can we contact directly the sysadmins?

2) Before this request is approved, we could start using the "pkgb" intermediary method proposed by Jacob: see "VLC example" here :http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=7022914&postcount=15
This will simplify the Documentation and it will be very easy to switch to direct APT links when they are enabled. 
Are you all ok to start this way?
