Why not enabling APT links in the Documentation ???

Dear all, 
I'm new to this list, I'm from the French Team, contributing often to the French Documentation, and I was totally amazed when I saw that the APT URL links are not enabled in the English wiki !
Please have a look at this:

I think enabling APT links in the English Documentation will make it so much more user-friendly !
