Guilty as charged. I had no idea that my little musing on a minor
project would be picked up and publicized by the register. Of course
this publicity has mostly been picked up by the trolls of the
blogosphere who (like the author of the article) failed to read an
comprehend my blog posts.

I suppose that it did serve the cause in that maybe someone that isn't a
troll may read the post and consider contributing some time to help
improve the wiki. I do intend on following through and recruiting some
help to improve the wiki - regardless of what was implied by the article
I know as well as most members of this list that the documents are not
"in shreds" and that the wiki just needs a little love.

My apologies to the documentation team if anyone feels this has brought
undue attention to us, it seems the linux haters blog picked me up from
the planet ubuntu feed and took this opportunity to take a few shots at
the distro as a whole and myself, the BT and the doc team   as a whole.
