Hi all,
Due to some last minute changes to avoid a regression regarding the implementation of fake/SATA RAID in intrepid, I need to ask the user whether they wish to activate such arrays during the alternate installer.

The bug where the UI freeze exception request can be found is bug #279288, https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/279288.

The text string of the UI change is as follows:

Activate Serial ATA RAID devices?
One or more drives containing Serial ATA RAID configurations have been found.
Do you wish to activate these RAID devices?

The debconf template is as follows:
Template: disk-detect/activate_dmraid
Type: boolean
Default: true
_Description: Activate Serial ATA RAID devices?
One or more drives containing Serial ATA RAID configurations have been found.
Do you wish to activate these RAID devices?

This question will be asked if the user's system happens to have a serial ATA RAID configuration present. It gets asked right before the user is given options to partition their disks, i.e during the detection of disk drives step of the installer.

If you need any more information, please let me know. I will post back if the UI freeze exception is granted.

Thanks
Luke
