Welcome to the team! How would you like to help out with the
documentation?
You might be interested in working with the Ubuntu Training guys [1].
They've created a training course for new Ubuntu users, which links in
with some interactive material too, I think. There's a Training Team
meeting coming up on the 3rd of April.
