Welcome! This is the mailing list for the Documentation Team; we write
documentation (help guides and so on) for Ubuntu users, and so don't
really do much coding ourselves.
If you're interested in kernel programming, you might like to get in
touch with the Linux Kernel mailing list [1] [2]. Kernel programming is
supposed to be very technical, so it might be a good idea to take a look
at some of the online resources [3] or to buy a book on the subject [4].
